Thank You for Joining Us at Gathering of Warriors
To celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Dine Naazbaa Partnership held it’s first annual Gathering of Warriors with Firebase Committee. A New Roof Over Their Heads
Bernice, a veteran from Wide Ruins, was carrying a heavy burden when she first connected with DNP program lead Cassandra, back in June. Her roof was falling apart, and every day she worried about how long her home would keep protecting her and her daughter. With limited income, the repairs felt out of reach, leaving her with an overwhelming sense of uncertainty.Â

Christmas in July
In June 2025, DNP was contacted by Cecilia Sandoval of National American Indian Veterans and Bob Dalpe of the Veterans Medical Leadership Council in Phoenix, AZ, who wished to donate toys. Together with DNP case coordinator Karen Shirley, they began planning how to deliver the toys to a veteran organization in Sawmill, AZ.Â
